Here is a somewhat unique situation...
I got a Discount Tire/Car Care One card on 10/29 and my first statement cut on 10/31.
This means my 4th statement is going to cut sometime this week, however it will only be 3 months time.
So the question is...
GE CLI's... 4 statements after account opening or 4 months?

Based on what I've read and experienced, 4 statements is the sweet spot. Just realize that this 4 statement is a guideline, and not a rule. They can still deny a CLI! But you might as well give it a go! You have nothing to lose 
Make sure you have a low or 0 balance. and you balance is updated. let us know how did it go
I say request it as soon as you 5th statement is available. usually by 11:30 pm or 12:00 am CALL THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM or VIA ONLINE(if available)
