GE Walmart CLI question

I just got a GE Walmart card with the initial CL of $900.  I was wondering if I could call GE and request an immediate CLI? If so which number would be best?

Thanks

Mark

Re: GE Walmart CLI question

Fourth statement. Others report great results, mine have been underwhelming. I went from $750 to $1700 in a year, however I didn't have much usage after the first six months. Some report much more than that over the course of a year. Free FICO is nice though!

Mine have been as well bro. I got denied for a cli like 40 times. I have been approved 6 times. I got a cli around the 4th or 5th statement from 700 to 1200. Then a bunch of denials (probably 30); then one day (less than 2 weeks ago) I got my highest wal mart TU score ever (725 up from 720). So I hit the luv button and it worked--taking me up to 1600. So I immediately call credit solutions. I wanted to be conservative because they reject me so often, so I asked for 4k. It got approved, so I decided that I would call and ask for more the next morning--approved again for 6k. I posted about it here and I was told that I should have asked for 10k, so once I was convinced I decided that I'll just ask for 10k in the morning--which I did, and got approved. I decided to stop there--though it's tempting to call them back and ask for 15k.

My first year of having the card is in 4 days.

Re: GE Walmart CLI question

Whoa, that's pretty awesome. Mine jumped to 1700 from the luv button a couple of weeks ago. You think it's worth calling in again now? Or has it been too long. My walmart TU is up to 695

Re: GE Walmart CLI question

When I got mine last year initial CL was $1200. About the months later they game me an auto CLI to $2400. Nothing since then and haven't bothered to request one.

Received my Walmart Discover card about 2 months ago and called the backdoor number to request a higher line... after a few questions and answers, approved for 10k :-)
