Just called 1-877-294-7880 and once i got to a rep i asked for a credit limit increase, and a very nice lady in the United States helped me submit my request. She asked for my income, and i said $6,500 which is what i will be making at the end of this year, and she almost thought i said $65,000 .... lol any way she then asked how much i wanted and i said $500 and she then said congradulations you have been approved, you can start using it right away. Then we each very nicely ended the call! This is so awesome! It has been 4 months now since i had the account cuz i just paid my 4th statement on 7/21/12. GE loves me! I have even been using the card heavly too almost running against my $300 limit, so i just thought what the heck, lets ask for a increase, the worst they can do is say no and send me a letter, but they said yes!!! Every little bit counts! I would like to thank this forum and everyone on it for giving me the courage for me to help myself build credit! Thanks so much everyone!

Thanks guys! This will help with my utilization even more. This morning i saw on credit karma, my new BOA Secured is already reporting and it helped my credit karma score go to from a 646 to a 659, so with this increase from GE it will make my scores go up even more as long as i dont spend any more than what i am at now. My utilization was at 38% and this morning its at 31% so it should go down further once the increase reports!
