I was just approved for the Sam's Discover this past weekend and GE is already reporting on my credit reports. On all my GE cards, they have posted before I even have the card in hand...lol Bofa and Discover was pretty quick too. But my gas cards (chase, citi) have been opened a few weeks and are still not showing up. Also my victoria secret is not showing up either. I wonder how long it will take for those to show up? Do they normally wait until the first purchase, first billing cycle, or what? Or is GE just really on the ball?
I also had my walmart store card report before I even recieved it in the mail

There might be an issue with your account.
Also OP be aware, I'm not sure if sam's does it, but my walmart reported mid cycle the first month once I had made a purchase and updated the balance.
I have not used my Walmart yet, but I noticed that that it 'updated' twice with the zero balance under new account numbers. When I first applied online they gave me a temporary account number. I am wondering if the people that get this mid cycle update during the first month are experiencing the account number changing which unfortunately would reflect any balance update?
****edited to say I received an alert of a new account added to my report twice (once before I received the card and yesterday). Both were under different account numbers and both were the Walmart Discover
