Re: GE loves me and hates me

Yes! Once you do so it should definetely open the doors for a CLI. Keep us posted once it happens. It should reach the $1k's category. Remember just put on the card what you can pay off by the due date HAVE FUN!!

Im a 18 yr old in high school with no annual income that loves learning new things about credit. I pulled my FIRST Experian Score from Quizzle.com (on 2-9-13). Quizzle.com was the only site that was able to find my credit report, the rest required more information in order to do so since I lack public records. The cards listed are the ones I'm currently as an AU. I don't own any cards under my name since I don't have an annual income to include when applying. Im super EXCITED!! MyFico.com is awesome!!!
Macys Platinum CC (AU) $1,800- Chevron VISA (AU) $2,250- Nordstrom CC (AU) $1,000- Sears Platinum MasterCard (AU) $1,500-
Wells Fargo Platinum VISA (AU) $1,000

Re: GE loves me and hates me

Also keep in mind that it will upgrade to VISA once it qualifys, in your case you have been on time in payments its just getting the CL higher. Thats why my sister applied for Old navy because of the Upgrade offer.

Re: GE loves me and hates me

Well, I tried the after hours trick with GE and they approved a cli for my Amazon card for 2500.00!! That is the main one I wanted an increase on because I love amazon!!  I didn't dare ask about the Old Navy. I am going to go use the card today and let the balance hit my credit next week when the new bill cuts, then pay it off and then call. I should have asked while I was on the phone with the analyst but I didn't want to tempt fate :catwink:

Wow! I wonder what that after hours trick is. Is it a conscious decision by GE? Poor training?

Pretty amazing that multiple people have had results with this trick just over the last 48 hours.
In My Wallet: Amex BCP (12/12) $13,500, Cap1 Cash Rewards (6/12) $9,000, Barclaycard Arrival (5/13) $7,500, Citi Forward (12/12) $6,500, Chase Freedom (12/12) $5,000

Yup, I think that I was the cause of them getting more recon calls after hours! LOL

Re: GE loves me and hates me

The csr I spoke with was british and very nice! She actually listened to what I had to say. I feel like I can always tell the answer by the csr I get. I have called before and could tell by the person who answered that I was going to get nowhere so I would tell them I had the wrong number! *lol*
