It's funny because among other limits I now have 8000, 10000, 12000, 13000, 14000, 15000, 16000, and 17000. Kind of funny how it seems they're all trying to go in order.
WoW!!! Very nice, wonder what your APR will be!

If it is $16K, then that is a pretty good starting CL from GECRB! And, for this new card for that matter.

Nice. Hopefully it's the Signature.

Yes it is. I've seen people get Lowe's and only get 500 or something, so this is a real surprise.
was the Signature.
@2FixMyCredit wrote:I applied and was denied. Underwriter said that their standards for this card are significantly higher than many of their others, didn't give an exact reason why though
I'd wait for the letter and see the reason why. You could also try rining back to get someone who can tell you exactly why, although I'm not sure if they do that.

Nice.
I just looked at Experian and the account is reporting there already, which is less than 24 hours. The limit is indeed 16,000, so maybe General Electric will give higher starting limits on this. They usually do it when you apply in the store vs online, but obviously you cannot do that with this.

This thread is giving me the itch! I just fired two Comenity cards. Wouldn't it be great to replace them with a GE Visa Siggy card? Please, no one say yes!
May we suggest the following? Don't app just to app...

Hahahhahahaha anti-itch cream.
Shockingly, I have no desire to app for this card.
Me either. The way things are going with GECRB and being that this CC would duplicate many of the rewards available through the other GE CC's, it just wouldn't be worth it.
I think GECRB left you with a stink bug so I can honestly understand not wanting to get any more CCs with them again. In no time you'll build your BOA, Chase and maybe others (you should eventually look into the Fidelity AMEX or Visa (backed by FIA/BOA)... in the future of course, in the future..LOL. Otherwise, without giving you that disclaimer, Lexie and myjourney will think I'm being a bad influence and encouraging you to apply again.
