GECMB walmart denied but GECMB amaon approved?

I applied for the walmart store credit card and was denied but right after applied for the amazon store card and was approved instantly for $600.

Same bank just a diffrent store, why the walmart denial and the amazon approval?

Wish I knew...my DH was approved for Walmart on Sat, hour later apped for Amazon and was denied.

I spoke to the bank that issues the Buckle store card yesterday. Because I wanted to switch to a different store card. The CSP told me they couldn't because each store has a different credit requirement.
