GECRB GEMB same thing?

Is GECRB and GEMB the same company?  I apped for the paypal MC and got the smart connect instead.  I got my letter in the mail and it said my score was 457 from a range of 300 to 620 source GECRB, I'm assuming that's an internal score as my TU is much higher.  Is there a back door number for them to recon?  Does the smart connect graduate to the paypal MC?  How are they with CLI's if I'm stuck with it?  They gave me 500 so I am happy with that, would have preferred the MC.  Thanks for any help or information.

Smart Connect does not graduate into MC. You have to apply again down the line.

GECRB = GEMB. GE does not use FICO score, but use their in-house credit score.

They have been good with CLI for me.   I have never heard anyone get graduated to the MC.   You can not even apply for the MC if you have Smart Connect.

Thanks.  I guess since I have opened a few GE backed accounts in the last 3-4 months they are wary of overextending to me.  I have a Walmart, Lowes, CareCredit, and now the Smart Connect.  I guess I should be happy it wasn't a flat out denial, and it does add to my credit pool lowering my overall Utilization.

PPSC isnt that bad. I just linked it up to a paypal debit card. Only issue is how long it takes for your avaolable credit to jump back up after a payment. I made a payment on the 16th amd my available credit is still not updated, as opposed to cap1 who does it the day after payment posts.
