GEMB Walmart Auto CLI

Imagine my surprise to encounter an auto CLI to 800 when I went to see if my TU FICO had updated for Sept....Unsolicited CLI after just 3 statements... Not a single neg item on ANY bureau reporting, but very limited credit history (MARCH) of this year. FICO's at 680 (lender pulls) with TU FIco on walmart site at 710... Smiley Very Happy

Re: GEMB Walmart Auto CLI

The same thing happened to me...I opened my Walmart CC in 11/2010. A few months later they gave me the auto CLI to $800. I just logged on today to check my statement and discovered they had given me another auto CLI to $1000!! It's been, what 10 months? Pretty cool...of course, I'm not planning on taking the bait. I love the fact that it will raise my overall available credit (and also my FICO score), but I try not to carry a balance on store cards like this one...the interest rate is way too high. Smiley Wink

Re: GEMB Walmart Auto CLI

I finally got a CLI from them.  I got the account in '05 and in '08, they cut my CL from $550 to $220!  I used the card once after the CL was cut, and paid it off the day after, because i was mad they cut my CL.  Last month, I decided to request a CLI, and they gave me $1000.  I was shocked, was expecting $500.  but, never got any auto CLIs..I had to request it.
