i've called about four times since getting my Gap card around December 2008 to have it upgraded to a Visa. started off with $200 CL and its now at $800. Everytime I've called, they tell me that they don't upgrade those cards to Visas. I've even spoken to an account manager. My scores are 720 TU; 700 EQ; 690 EX.

Where did you get your scores? Consumers can no longer buy their Experian FICO score (as of this past February), so unless you belong to PSECU (EX FICOs on monthly statements) or applied for a mortgage, the EX score at least is a FAKO.

Sorry about the upgrade blues, though. Maddening when they tell you one thing, while you see examples of another.
