JUST CHECKING IN...

Literally changed from Bronze to Silver spade this morning. Two hours later, got the itch to app.

Haven't thought about it in 3 months!

Luckily, the thing I wanted to app for is the Citi TYP 60,000. I applied in April for AAdvantage and was denied for "previous relationship" w/ Citi, so I just kept telling myself "nothing's changed. nothing's changed. don't waste it." -- not to mention, I want a mortgage next summer. It subsided, but this credit thing can turn an otherwise rational human being into a compulsive madman.

STAYING STRONGLY PLANTED.. for now. Man Sad

Glad to see that you're staying strong! Mortgages are big ticket times. Letting everything age for another year will probably help you out quite a bit. My scores are up 20 points just from the last 8 months of gardening. If that happens to you, it will probably knock your interest rate down a bunch. Good luck!

Re: Garden Club - August 2015

I haven't checked in in quite sometime. Since my last checkin, I haven't applied for any new credit.  I am seeing consistent increases coming in from different creditors without asking.  My total credit limits are now $53k.  Paying bills ontime and making more than the minimum.  My inquiries are falling off.  Walmart says 775  -  Discover shows my transunion score is 772... whoot whoot!   Equifax shows 776...  Now experian on the other hand has many inquiries that will drop within the next year or so.  I think I'm at 740.  I do have a student loan which is showing as being in excess of its credit limit... why is that I have no idea.  anyone with any ideas?

FICO Scores: (EX-735-11/12) EQ-757-12/03 (TU-750-11/12)
Discover FICO: 756 - 12/17 Walmart FICO: 750-1/06
USAA FAKO: EX-742 EQ-761 TU-761

Macys $7.2k - NFCU $24k - Discover $6.8k - Cap One $3500 - Nordstrom $3.5k - Wells Fargo $1k - Walmart $4.5k- The Limited $2.5k- Victoria's Secret $2.2k- Bloomingdales $2k- JCP $700

Benadryl shotgut pointed at your head so you won't shoot yourself in the foot. Go look at the mortgage rates for the different tiers of scores, and tell me that doesn't motivate you to stay in the garden. The ONLY way you are going to get any of the things you want is to stay up in here. Period.

Starting Score : 575 May, 2013
Current Scores: EQ 716 6 INQ TU 745 4 INQ EX 726 3 INQ Last INQ December 2015, In the GC until Jan 2017.

Re: Garden Club - August 2015

I am getting closer to that spade! It is such a kick to get a cli without a hard pull. I get the same buzz that I get when I used to get approved for a new card. I am happy to garden for a long time. Good luck in your journey gardening friends!

Re: Garden Club - August 2015

Good afternoon!

Looks like new seedling Sallie Mae is reporting on the three CRAs.   All have called it a "Flexible Spending Credit Card"; TU and EX show the CL, but EQ does not.   Interesting.

Oh, and I was able to resolve my login issues with BoA yesterday.    Their site is meh and their app is just ancient.  Touch ID, anyone?    BBR is literally just going to get my recurring charge for my Disneyland AP and that's it.   Hopefully, I can set up autopay and just let this account run itself.

How's your Gardening?
