I took a hit and looks like I am going to be a seedling for another month. I guess it was worth it though.

@Anonymouswrote:Lol, AJC...say what you will!!! This sofa is 5 feet deep and 10 feet wide. I'm barely 5 feet deep (and if I keep eating with my friends, the "10 feet wide" may be a problem!) The pillows are filled with down and the seat cushions make you feel like you're back in the womb. I would build a house to accomodate this thing! As for the laptop, I love my Lenovo Flex 5.
I have a feeling if i ever laid down i'd never get back up. So heaven does exist

... i basically would use it to browse, pay bills and probably movies. I heard an Acer is good generally but i have no clue what to look for in a laptop. I should also pick up a printer so i can print my receipts of paid bills etc .Acer is among the best values going, and they build reputable hardware. Most any modern laptop will satisfy your requirements.
Other potential considerations include a comfortable keyboard and excellent battery life. (From time to time, I attend meetings outside the office, and want a full workday of battery life.) Also, if you want/need to work in the dark, a backlit/top-lit keyboard is very handy.
