Re: Garden Club - July 2015

Here I am.  Smiley Happy  I've had to app for some lines since I was here last, due to a new baby in the family (born May 27th!), but it's now time to concentrate on cleaning up the file so that we can buy a bigger place (obviously, we'll need it!).  Not wavering this time - we can't stay where we are now, so this is more important than a shot in the arm from a CC approval (though I'll miss that, lol!).

Good to be here.  Smiley Happy

Good Morning GCers!

I am checking in this July 1st.  I can't believe half of the year is already gone.  Where has it gone to so fast?  While I'm here I'm switching out my seedling for a bronze speed, woohoo!  Smiley Wink  Hope everyone's gardening goals are being reached!

Have a good one!

Re: Garden Club - July 2015

Hey Gardeners,

I'm back for the month of July!   With two new seedlings, June was a credit success.  Now it's time to make 'em grow!   As usual, I like to outline my Garden plan for the month.   Here's what I'm doing:

1.  Collect Bronze Spade on 7/5

2. AMEX 181 Day CLI on 7/31.  At this point, my plan is to ask for $25K on BCE.

3. SP CLI attempts.   May call Credit Solutions on Sam's Club after statement close.   Might try LUV button on Gold Violin.  No other requests are likely

4. UTIL.   My CU Visa will approach 50% UTIL, so I need to work that down (or hope they give me Auto-LUV!).   Requests for CLIs with my CU require HP, so that's a no-go.

5. Zero balances.   I need more of them to help improve scoring.

6. SD.  Sony Card has moved into the SD.  Wally will remain in the SD; I've decided to keep the card open for the time being.  Costco TE is moving into the SD.  Overstock is also SDed for now.

And that's pretty much it!  Wishing everyone the best for their July Gardening!

Thank you for the wealth of knowledge I have learned from these forums. I am logging off as of November 9, 2022. I wish everyone great success.

Re: Garden Club - July 2015

I gardened for 2 months before leaving the garden on June 24 to get a Lowes card for home improvements my DW and I want to do. Then was turned down by Citi because of too many INQ (they helped that way by pulling 2 of them EQ and EX. So, I'm back in the garden for the long haul this time.

Happy July Fellow GC Members! Smiley Very Happy

I'll pick up my Silver Spade on the 23rd and I'm GLAD about it! I'm here for the long haul and a witness that gardening really does help to improve your credit scores. I've learned that on-time payments, low utilization, and good ole time are your BEST friends in the credit world! We're halfway through 2015 and you can still achieve your credit goals!!! Stay focused and don't go overboard during the holidays (4th of July included). Smiley Wink
