Re: Garden Club - June 2015

Well ladies and gentleman, after approximately 28 months in the Garden, I finally stepped out. Picked up a new motorcycle and decided to finance a majority of it to add an open installment loan to my report in preparation for a mortgage next year (maybe).

I gained about 100 points during my time in the garden as inquiries, baddies, etc. fell off, and at the same time had auto/SP credit limit increases of somewhere between $15-20k.

The Garden works, folks.

Congratulations! I was just thinking how my understanding of gardening has evolved over the two weeks since I joined. Your post is great validation for that.

Re: Garden Club - June 2015

Happy Tuesday morning, everyone.

I made less than PIF payments on all my accounts today, to see what happens. Most of them are low or zero interest. I still have new accounts yet to report, plus I'm consolidating student loans, so I'm expecting more score pain.

My thought is that in another month, when all the new activity has hit, I'll pay all my balances to zero to see what difference it makes to my scores. It's just a curiousity, really, since I'm not in the market to finance anything and don't "need" my score to be high right now.

I'd be happy to hear anyone's thoughts/observations, as always -

1 month, 6 days, 13 hours and 7 minutes until I can start the early exclusion process on Transunion for the lion's share of my baddies. But who's counting?

I can't wait. Smiley Happy
