Re: Garden Club Meeting - April 2012

Still app free since Nov '11! I'm still tempted to app earlier than I have planned for the BCE but I'm trying to tell myself it'll be worth it to wait until the optimal time and utilization on my reports.

My garden:

Capital One No Hassles - $750 CL ($39 AF; can't wait to get rid of this before the AF is due again!)

WFNNB Lane Bryant - $100 CL (I've given up trying to get another CLI on this one and waiting to see what happens after it turns a year old)

AmEx Zync - NPSL

Discover Miles - $3000 CL

PenFed Travel Rewards AmEx - $5000 CL

WFNNB Avenue - $750 CL

Starting Score (07/2011): EQ 706 TU 709
Current Score (4/2013): EQ 750 TU ??? EX FAKO 726 (Credit Sesame)
Goal Score: 750+ on all 3

Re: Garden Club Meeting - April 2012

Lane Bryant $200 limit was CLI in 11/2011  to $550 - $0 balance.

USAA secured AMEX $500 was increased in 02/2012 to $1k...  in hindsight I think I would have rather opened their secured MC for the $500 but the higher CL means less worries.  lol  It gets used for regular expenses and PIF every 2 weeks.

Just got $22k auto loan with local CU - as long as I get inqs back down and improve my credit score they will reduce the interest rate from 7.49% in 10-12 months.

I'm planning on sitting in the garden until I get that interest rate reduced, then I'll re-evaluate.  lol

Hope I don't get sunburned.  :-)

Re: Garden Club Meeting - April 2012

Couple of updates:

Stepped out of the Garden after 5 months to apply for a Amex Platinum Card  due to the intensive amount of travel I'm going to be doing this summer and fall.  I already had Zync and BCE for personal and Gold for business expenses, and called to inquire if I could upgrade the Zync to platinum.  Being that it hadn't been 13 months yet, they told me I had to apply for a new card and eat the hard pull.

App'd over the phone and got an instant approval.  The CSR I was talking to even commented on how "beautiful" my account history was, though I'm not sure what exactly that means.  I closed the Zync account.

I also closed down my Barclays Apple Visa and moved the CL over to my US airways MC (now @4500).

I tried to get a CLI on my BofA Visa Sig, but the Rep said I was too new of a customer and had too many revolver accounts.  The next two weeks will be me culling the weedlings out of the garden.  Orchard got yanked yesterday, and CreditOne will be yanked tomorrow.

My Curent Wallet:

BofA Visa Sig @ 5k

Discover More @ 4500

US Airways MC @ 4500

Amex BCE @ 3109

Amex Plat

Amex Gold

Banana Republic Visa @2k(don't laugh, I shop there quite a bit).

Sock Drawer:

Walmart @1500

Nordstroms @ 500

Amazon Store Credit @ 1500

Wells Fargo Plat Visa @ 800

80% of my spend was on Zync, now it'll be on Plat.

15% of my spend is on Discover More.

The other accounts collect dust.
