Not feeling as perky and upbeat as I was before about my credit, i dont know why. I think since i've gotten what I really wanted i'm not as interested anymore..
It's because you have nothing to "chase" right now and you know it's going to be a while. So now comes all the tedious aspects of credit. It's always exciting when you have a short-term goal you are working for... you press Submit... annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd...
That's all exciting, but once you have what you want, at least for now... it's gone. Don't worry, it happens to everyone.
You'll get the bug back by next February when you are getting ready to apply for the next goal. It's normal.
After sharing my outline and goals with my DGF, I've felt the same way. Don't feel the need to check constantly on my report, worry about my scores, etc...
Now, I can sit back and relax and let time do its work.

Thoughts/Concerns? Sound like a good plan?
Sounds great to me, specially when you outline it long-term like that.
DGF actually made me print out mine, and we both signed it. It's hanging in a FRAME over my desk.
The frame was her idea. I love it.

Love the frame idea - seeing it every day would be a great reminder.

FicoTron had a thread titled "AMEX Approval Scores", you can check there and see what other people might have reported for their scores and history.

Thanks - I'll do that.
Just edited out my original question, as I realized it might be too much temptaion for those gardening. Sorry if I've caused anyone to break out the Appadryl to quell their itch... ![]()

We could use several cases of Appadryl around here...

I've tried to apply for the BCE like 6 times since my Citi Forward approval but the website seems to hate me and I just get a blue circle and then a time out after the first screen. I've taken this to mean that it's the credit gods telling me to wait.
So I think I'm going to wait another 6 months to apply for real for the BCE. By then my Forward should be reporting (highest CL so far at $6,500!) and maybe AmEx will try to beat that. The Forward also has a bonus 9K TY points if you spend at least $650 in the first 3 months, so I should concentrate on using the card and hitting that goal.
