Quick question.

I won't leave the garden if my credit gets pulled for an apt rental right?

That's correct. We've made certain exemptions (job application, apartment rental, utilities, etc.) and this would be one of them, so you'll be fine. The rule of thumb is that if your credit gets pulled for something that's not an application for credit per se, and there isn't the possibility of it showing up as a new TL on your reports, then it's exempted from counting against your GC recognition level.

Re: Garden Club Meeting - April 2013

In the Garden since February.  It's true, like any addiction, if you can make it 28 days, the ones beyond that become easier.

Did get a CLI from Lowes...a $4K increase to $10K!  No pull whatsoever...no hard...no soft...nada!

Any request?Smiley Happy

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Garden Club Meeting - April 2013

This quarter ended with 3 new additions, a NavCheck, Chase Freedom and a Paypal SC for a total CL of an additional $9k. After 2012 closed out with a bang I could have stayed in the garden, but temptation lured me out.

I've gotten all that I reasonably could so my wallet is fat now. I'm satisfied enough to just let my garden grow. My goal is no new cards until this time next year. I need to work on getting the last 2 baddies off so my scores can all be over 730.

So I am in the garden now getting ready for spring blooms! I can't wait to change my seedling!

Major CC's - Barclay's ($5.5K) | Barclay's Sallie Mae MC ($5K) | DCU ($7.5K) | Discover IT ($1.4K) | Genisys Visa ($1.4K) | NFCU Visa ($22K) | Navcheck ($15K) | Chase Freedom ($5K) | SDFCU Visa ($8K) | Amex BCP ($9.5K) | Amex Delta ($10K) |Store CC's| -Amazon ($4K) | Catherines ($850) | JCP ($4K) | Macy's ($1.7K) | Avenue ($850) | Victoria's Secret ($1.4K) | Walmart ($4.1K) | Paypal SC ($1.3K) | HSN ($2.5) | Sears ($2.6K) | Sams Club ($4.1K) |Goal|: Age with grace to 750 across the board |Last app|: 3/3/2014
