Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Garden Club Meeting - April 2013

Restarting my gardening, left after starting a couple of weeks ago to get a personal loan to take care of some things.
Plan to stay at 3-6 months looking to hopefully get a refi on my car loan after cleaning up my report a little more and lowering utilization on my cards.
Also having some issues with getting my seedling to show any suggestions?

Re: Garden Club Meeting - April 2013

Myjourney- Actually I was planning to apply at the end of the month, but I had a rather large purchase I had to make, so I decided to push it back a week, and yes I like having company as well!

Lexie- I've got 3 inquiries on EX, so I hope it won't scare my creditors too much..lol. But yeah, I love seeing people getting approved, then I'm tempted to hit the submit button, but I back out since I know if I wait it out now, I have a better chance of approval later on...

Re: Garden Club Meeting - April 2013

I just killed my Seedling Smiley Sad

It's now my solemn duty to report that I caved in to the pressure and the itch and leapt into the chasm for the CSP.

Thankfully the leap ended successfully, but on this date, one very young seedling got smushed beneath the metal of the Chase Sapphire Preferred which shall be in my wallet very soon,

RIP Mr. Seedling.

P.S.  I am now back..to stay...for a minimum of 6 months.  (even if that means forgoing the 3xCLI on the BCP)

My wallet is quite complete now.

Welcome back Pilotdude! My condolences to your seedling. Now, that your wallet is complete perhaps the itch will subside. 😕

Re: Garden Club Meeting - April 2013

I am still planted in the garden.  More than eight months now...just about four more to go.

DW, however, just got another invitation to apply for Citi's TYP card.  She applied last July, they pulled EX and TU and denied her.

Her EX is almost 100 points higher than it was in July.  Her TU is about 40 points higher than it was in July.

She's got a few inquiries from April of last year that are about ot be more than one year old.

I'm tempted...

04/01/24 Fico 8: EX 763, EQ 799, TU 783.
Fico 9: EX 756 03/13/24, EQ 790 02/04/24, TU No idea.

Zero percent financing is where the devil lives...
