WOW!
I would never have believed it, but gardening has been so good for me (as well as paying off more revolving debt). ![]()
I just got my EQ FICO from M&T Bank, and for the first time ever I hit... 760!
Can't believe it. Of course, this will drop once some of my holiday spending reports, but I expect it to bounce back over the next few months as I finish paying off ALL revolving debt - goal is to have this done by 6/13.
Just felt the need to share, as this is a huge milestone for me. 100 points up in one year. ![]()

I feel done applying for credit as I have the one thing I've been trying so hard to obtain for some time now. An auto loan. I like the cards I've come to add to my collection. I will garden them and work on getting my balances down to something reasonable--hopefully all reporting $0 in the next 3 months. Currently about $4,700 in credit card debt but I don't think that's too bad from a credit standpoint. Also about $13,000 on my auto loan. First payment is next year! My plan is to not apply for any credit any time next year as I have no reason to. I will set a reasonable goal for myself and say 3 months with no apps. If I do well...3 more months without app'ing. I think its possible. The final card I added to my collection was US Bank Flex Perks Select. I'm hoping this application will lead to me having it PC'd over to Cash+. I think that wraps up 2012. Last app was 12/17/2012 ![]()

I had to trade in my bronze spade for a seedling. I app'd for the Walmart card and happy to say I was approved! Merry Christmas

Oddly, as 01 January approaches, I really have no desire to app for anything.
Last app was sometime in August, when I refinanced DW's car.
My util is still kinda high, as is hers. Still too many inq's to even apply for a "prime" card.
Hopefully, 2013 will be a better year for us financially, and we can reduce our CC debt.

That's great! It inspired me to check how I did...not quite as well, but the four scores that I can see all went up!
My EX Fako rose 77 points. My TU08 rose 15 points.
DW EX Fako rose 61 points, her TU08 rose 5 points.

well my score tanked this month. went from 2 cards reporting at 6% to like 6 cards reporting at 24% (actually less but thats what it will be if i dont pay anything else) (and 3 of them appear to be maxxed (more then 80%))
Last myfico update dropped my score to 660. hoping to get back up to 700's in the next couple months as 4 of my inq will be a year plus. most of my accounts will be over 6+months mark. plus ill hit a year aaoa in a couple months.
paid off my amex in full since its a charge.
christmas on top of new iphone really hurt my wallet lol.
ive decided to just forget about another amex until next year. (that way id have the zync with a solid year and a half payment history instead of 6 months)
5k Citizens.
1k Freedom
and Amex Zync
are all i need in my wallet.
i do have store cards though.
best buy has a 1600/2500 (0% until novemebr of 14)balance atm and macys will report a 700/3500 balance due to some holiday shopping but that will be paid off since its a 24.99apr ouch.
chase has gotten some use since their auto cli to 1k. and has a balance of 650 but will be pif before it reports. on the 7th of jan.
but i did get about 375 dollars in christmas money so that will be going towards that.
besides paying the car and the cards no more shopping. (morning starbucks runs dont count towards this though)
happy gardening and hoping everyone is enjoying their holidays.. onto the new year we go.
