When did you hear that USAA was going to offer Chip/Pin ?

Just here just now, on the same thread you replied on I think.  I guess I overstated it or didn't understand the thread, giddy in my silly excitement, oh well :smileyhappy:.

Re: Garden Club Meeting - February 2013

I'm definitely in the garden for the next year. I need to have that Discover in my life so I need those inquiries to fall off, my aaoa to go up, drop 2 baddies, and my uti is always in the 15% so I'm good in that area and I will CLI the hell out of my cards to scratch that itch and make my case stronger when I app next year!! So excited, feel so brand new and so fortunate! Good luck to all of you!

Re: Garden Club Meeting - February 2013

I'm adding some Florida orange juice to the mix for anyone who's not feeling so great...

I'm still in the garden.  Waiting for my Lowe's CLI and NFCU NavCheck to start reporting to see what kind of boost my scores will get with the extra $15K in CLs.  I've been working on paying some things down and shifting to maximize my 0% interest.  I'm sitting on a Cap1 that I may try to exec office, but I'm a bit chicken, so will wait until the dust settles in the next few weeks.

Other than that, firmly planted in the garden...I need a spade!!!

Re: Garden Club Meeting - February 2013

[ Edited ]

I'm a few days out from my first spade.  While reflecting in the garden this month I've decided the following -

-my Citi TY Amex will (hopefully) be replaced by a backdated Amex HHilton. I want only 1 revolver on the amex network. When I step out of the garden to app in the coming months I guess we'll see how that goes. I want to try for a CLI on it before I app for the Hilton.

-will keep my Amex Zync tucked away until Amex or I close it -whoever does it first. Its not getting any use at this point. Due for renewal in October. Have the PRG that was backdated and it will be the only annual fee card in my wallet - Point blank period. I want only 1 charge card on the Amex network and Zync<PRG.

-my BoA Visa will hopefully be trumped by a PenFed CC. I made the mistake of applying for the PenFed card earlier this month before my backdated PRG hit my reports. Worked out for the better cause my utilization is still on a diet/lifestyle change.

-my VS card hasn't been used in the year or so that I've had it. Will probably try for a CLI when my util on other cards goes down.

thats all for now, happy gardening to all.

Re: Garden Club Meeting - February 2013

I'm back for another month in the garden. I'll pick up the Gold spade next month!

I have a really big baddie falling off my reports in the next 2 months. I don't know why, but the 3 CRAs have it scheduled to fall off in different months from January to March. It fell off Experian a few weeks ago and my EX FAKO went up 38 points to 758!
