If you checked your recent post you'll see you have a reserved seat with your name on it lol welcome to the garden

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Garden Club Meeting - February 2013

So I am stepping firmly back into the garden and STAYING there. In early February I stepped out for the first time in over 2 years (other than the credit check the cable co and apt pulled when I moved). I apped for AMEX Blue and Care Credit and was approved (AMEX-8100, Care Credit-8500). They both pulled EX, but the trade lines are not reporting on my reports yet, so I have no clue how much of a hit my scores will take and am sad to see it when it does happen because before the apping they were the highest they've ever been. BUT the apping was the right thing to do in the long run, so I'll suck it up and wait the bad effects out.

My plan is to not apply for credit for the next year, at the very minimum, 6 months. I WiLL NOT MOVE from the garden!!

Starting Scores July 2012: EQ FICO 645, TU FICO 636, EXP (CCT) 638

Re: Garden Club Meeting - February 2013

So i'm bringing my mountain of debt here and staying for quite awhile. I have no interest in any new accounts, my goals are gradually reducing my debt month by month and seeing my scores rise over time.

Can't wait to get my Gold Spade!

Re: Garden Club Meeting - February 2013

Thank CreditnoCash! It was an amazing feeling. Especially since it took my total revolving CC limits from 1275 to 17875 in a matter of one week. I apped for Amex on my bday as a gift to myself. :-) Happy Birthday to me! :-P

Now I need to go get one of those seedling graphic thingies...

Re: Garden Club Meeting - February 2013

Well, my dear friends, I'm back to seedling level, but for a worthwhile cause. I now have a new little seedling in the form of a Chase Freedom to tend, and have doubled the limit on my Discover; details are posted on a separate thread. I doubt that I'll be ready to go car shopping until this fall, so as long as my transportation holds up I'm going to go for another 6 month round of gardening. Allow me to grab my gloves and watering can as I start again. Smiley Happy
