Stepped out of the garden for the last time til 2014!  I refinanced my Range Rover with PenFed at 1.49% today using the same HP from my application/cc/thrifty loc.  Since I'm going out of town on Friday, they are overnighting the paperwork and the check to me today.  I always thought they just paid off the current lender, but they said they are just sending me the check to pay them off. congrats! what was your rate before?

amount of loan? when i got my car i opted on leasing(270a month vs 600+ not including insurance) and putting down 15k on a new car in 3 years.

i might just buy out this one but im still debating.

I had a 4.9 with Chase. I only owe 25,618 on my vehicle, which is valued at 41,000+. I have never leased. I like putting as many miles as I want on my car and not having to pay.

This is true although you can trade in before you go over the miles. Or buy out with no penalty.

So I was just thinking maybe I should let all of my inquires age off and only app for stuff on January 2nd. So my inqs will always be at the same time. hmmm

Re: Garden Club Meeting - January 2013

Been in the garden for 8 days now. There are plenty more cards that I want, but any more apps will just result in either denials or low limits. I somehow need to break this habit of getting a new card every three months. So hopefully I will be here for the next year and 2014 will bring me some awesome new cards. I'm thinking Penfed Platinum, US Bank Cash+, CSP, etc.

Re: Garden Club Meeting - January 2013

Well I steped out the day before yesterday to join DCU and get their CC.  But now I'm back in for the long term until I go for a mortgage in 2014 or Barclay's closes me.  So I guess I'm on day 2.
