Credit Cards

Hello to all my fellow fico forum posters! hope everyone had a great new year! just checking in...10 more days and i earn my silver spade (3 months application free!)

I'm left the garden today and app'ed for 5 cards:

wal-mart 1800

macy's 500

lowe's 2000

target 500

sear's 2000

took all of 30 minutes...

I'm back in the garden and my aim is a year. could be more since the only card i want now is a citi bank.

My last app was for an auto loan. It proved successful so no more apps for me this year. My goal is to garden my cards and grow the CLs with soft pulls. Last app was 12/17/12.

congrats on the approvals! we all know GE cards are generous with CLI. I love my Macys card...it can grow with you (especially if you like to shop there which i do). In one year went from 300 limit to 2500!

Seems like you are having trouble with your message signature. To add a signature; go to settings which is at the top of the forum box right next to your username and the link to sign out... from there you can copy and paste the html image code into the portion that says signature....

Goals for the new year are to continue the progress I’ve made in 2012: pay off remaining revolving debt, asking for SP CLI when appropriate, cull the herd by closing several CCs, let inquiries/new accounts age, and no apps for anything except a possible mortgage late this year.
