Thanks for the warm welcomes guys; I really appreciate it. I'm feeling a lot better and I'm just happy to be home again.
Question for you guys though: how fast does Barclays post rewards? I bought some things on Amazon with my shiny new Sallie Mae card, and I'm supposed to get 2,500 points upon using my card for the first time. I'm certainly not in a rush, but I know every bank is different and I don't have any previous experience with Barclays.
i have the aspiring prime and they generally take around 2-3 days..or within 24 hours of transaction posting to account

Thank you very much!

If this is a perfect year for you credit wise, where will you be at the start of summer?
Scores in 730's and getting pre qualified for a mortgage. I'm not sure a 30 point jump is possible in 6 months. I have new cards to garden and that huge wave of inquries from buying the car will be one year old the first week of June. I don't forsee Util exceeding 10%, right now I'm higher but that will be paid off soon. There isn't any bad info to correct or work on. It's just keep a low Util and pay credit cards early and pay them often.
I'm late to tonight's party, but I'll take some of the pasta and wings.. need to coat my tum from all the real life beverages I've had this evening
To answer tonight's question, by the summer of this year I'd like to be re-employed and to get my util back down to under 20%. Keeping my fingers crossed and paying over the minimums in the meantime (in good faith for things to come).
Another late response, but thanks to all who congratulated me on my bronze spade! Hope everyone has a great weekend

DEBT FREEEEEE!! I'm very close but in March we get our yearly bonuses. If it's even half of last year's then I'll have everything paid off. And with a Discover, Chase, Amex & Care Credit in my wallet. I'm thinking Sallie Mae. I need gas/groc rewards the most.
And today I'm celebrating, I made it!! I forked the dough & ran my TU.... *happy dance* 702.
Congrats!!!!
I was feeling the itch a week or so ago but I didn't d it. I'll have 10 months on the 8th. I've been so busy with work I didn't even notice.
