New to the gardening club. Look forward to getting as much as I can out of it. I am trying to buy a house in the next year. This is going to be fun.
Scores are currently:
Transunion -- 593
Equifax -- 596
Experian -- 581.
I went through a bad stretch with my bills in 2009 and my credit score went from about 700 in 2007 to low 500's in 2009. I think one was even in the high 400's. THis site has really helped me turn my perspective on credit and scoring around. One of the big things holding me back right now is my credit utilization is high so that is hurting me. Thankfully I am in a job now that pays pretty decent, $50k and I can get as much overtime as I want right now. My goal is to use all of my overtime money to pay above and beyond my credit card minimums. I'll actually be able to have them paid off in 4 months, my total credit card debt is $3300.
Goals:
No new apps for 6 months.
Raise scores to 640 plus.

Welcome to the garden
Your in the right place among friends who are paying down debt or increasing score for new TL's and we supprot each others dreams
Pay that debt off and you will in that new home before you know it.
Thank you for the support. The good part is that living in central Florida it's a huge buyer's market right now.
My goal is to buy around March. So it's a close timeframe, but not impossible. I may wait the entire year and rent something short term.
