Re: Garden Club Meeting - July 2013

I need a judgement on this: today I received a hard inquiry from a background check for my new house rental. Does this mean I have to reset my spade now?

Hi Alll,

Checking in for the day.

Hope everyone's day was as good as mine. Just returned from seeing Cicely Tyson on Broadway. Best theatrical experince I've ever had. She is a true force of nature.

Less than two weeks to go to earn back the bronze.

@HiLine

Your spade is safe. Inq's for housing, ins, utilities are some of the recently added exceptions

*The Garden Club community recognizes that certain inquiries are necessary for factors beyond those listed above. Therefore, Hard Pulls/Inquiries for the following bona fide reasons are exempt but not limited to: Employment Applications, Apartment Rentals, Utilities and other such services. These are not considered to be applications for credit per se.

Rentals do not reset the clock...utilites stuff like that you're ok

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

So true.  As good as the rest of the cast was, it was hard for me to turn my attention away from her when she was on stage.  She is that captivating.  Hard to belive that at 79 years of age, she can turn out a live performance of such magnitude.
