Re: Garden Club Meeting - June 2013

I started last month on the 14 so do I have to wait till the 14 for the bronze spade or is it just every month period. I actually started in april after I got my Discover card but didnt post in the garden club until May. I also dont want to take anything from the ones who have earned these icons.

It starts from the date of your last inquiry. I'd say your date starts in April, give yourself a bronze spade, and a silver 3 months out from your last hard pull.

Re: Garden Club Meeting - June 2013

Checking in for June. My official re-start date will be June 1st.

I finally got a response from EO at CapOne. They waived my AF on both my cards, PC to Reward Miles on my one previously non-reward card, and are reviewing my CL's and Interest rates. Hope to hear good news in the next few days!

They also forwarded my email to their EO that handles HSBC. I have two of those also. Those are also being reviewed for CLI. Cost me a hard pull on 5/31 for it, but hopefully will be worth it. Thus the new start day.Smiley Frustrated

I'm ready to watch the rollercoaster ride that will be my SW for the next few weeks/months as the new inq, accounts (added the IT, a CU Reward card, VS, and Wally in May.  Hey! Did that make it an app spree??), and CLI's report, as well as some old inq's falling off over the summer, and an old CO being reported as PIF! I normally love rollercoasters, but this one does scare me a bit.

My focus is now to reconsider which cards are worth keeping...for example~ I have a small BofA that just won't grow no matter what, and I'm tired of taking the HP hits for nothing on this one, so it will probably be weeded.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to spending at least the summer in the garden! Got my hat, gloves, and watering can ready!

Checking in!  I realize:

1.  I need to limit time in the CC threads, and come here first.

2.  Gardening is hard but it's easier than dieting!

Yes, reading about all the apps and approvals is testing, but people only get approved because they are in a good position.  That's what the garden is for - to put yourself in the best possbile position for the new credit you desire.  Stay strong.

Yes!  Well said.  I should put that on a post-it on my monitor!  The cards I want next are Walmart & DCU for the free scores, and I would want to think about future prime.  I'm thinking Discover & Freedom so I need to be in great shape in order for those to happen down the line and I believe with them that INQ really matter.  Waiting for DCU to process my membership and then hopefully refi my car down the road but need to continue paying down UT and garden up my scores so I get the best possible rate with the refi!

Aren't GE CLI's soft pulls? If so, then go for it!

Congrats on your time!
