Re: Garden Club Meeting - March 2013

The garden is to quite im calling it a night.

Everyone stay strong, remember why you came to the garden and continue to work your plan

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

@thirst305

Welcome to the Garden! If you haven't already, I would recon your Barclays Ring denial.

Thanks for the feedback

I call the credit analyst number and pleaded my case to no avail.  Should I try to recon again when I get the denial letter?

Re: Garden Club Meeting - March 2013

    I pressed the LUV button for Walmart CLI and after I entered income info it said something like "this account is not eligible for an online CLI. I have had the account 2 months. I guess I am going to wait til month 4 and call... I am in the garden now. I started my credit rebuild journey 2 months ago. Although I have established 2 new positive tradelines, filed form 12277 with the irs, tried back and forth in several ways to get my other baddy removed both with the CRAs and the creditor, my scores have not improved at all yet. That is ok though because I know that having 2 healthy tradelines building will eventually get me to the promised land. I have burned a few inquires with unsuccessful aps but I don't regret that. It is just part of the process and my scores will recover from that relatively soon. I know that having 2 new accounts isn't great for my score in the short term, but in the mid term I went from 0 credit accounts active to 2 and I am confident that over time my scores will improve.

    The other thing I accomplished is that I now receive 2 free fico scores per month. One from DCU and one from Walmart. My scores are still very low. I knew it would be a long process so I am choosing to just be patient. I am still at TU08 519 and EQ Beacon 625, but my federal lien should come off either from being withdrawn or from reaching the 7 year limit August this year. One of my credit reports says o the report that my lien is scheduled to drop off 8/13. My most recent late paym. ents are over 3 years old and I continue to slowly add positive info to my reports. I need to stay in the garden long enough for my scores to make a significant move, say 50 pts to get me to that next level of cards.....
