Re: Garden Club Meeting - March 2013

Happy Friday Gardeners!

I am waiting for my reports to update from my successful app spree earlier this month. I know I will take a hit from the inq's and new accounts but I'm hoping the addition of my first 5 digit CL will offset some of the damage. My AAOA is still over 6 years and each report has 1 baddie on each

Exp: paid state tax lien from 2006 - 7 inq in 2 years
EQ- Ch 13 dismissed Mar 2005 - 7 inq in 2 years
TU- sm collection to fall off next month- 10 inq's in 2 years ( damn GE cards 😉)

Congrats on the new card(s) and high limit.  Time in the garden will help the scores recover from the inqs and new TLs. Smiley Happy

Re: Garden Club Meeting - March 2013

Officially in the garden now just like i said. Went 4 for 4 on my applications spree:

BofA Better Balance

AMEX Green

AMEX BCP

Citi Simplicity.

Dont need anything else for a while other than my 3X CLI for AMEX in about 3 months. Hopefully my WF secured card will graduate next month and my BofA 123 in May. Keepin fingers crossed for that!

Re: Garden Club Meeting - March 2013

Midway through my 3rd week of gardening.

While I'm waiting for my reports to show the new TL, I GWd my old CU.   Still wating for response.

Since I was already a Chase checking customer, i decided to upgrade to the Premier Plus account and open a savings account with them.  Hoping this will bode well for me, when I finally app for the CSP.

Enjoy the weekend fellow gardners!

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

I am new to the garden...I have a total of 6 cards including store cards and wish to keep gardening until the end of the year(or until I a see a SP pre-approval in mail from amex).

I have been seeing pre-approved mails from lenders. Curios: does a pre-approved (SP) card ever make it as a HP to your CR after opening the tradeline? Or even if it gets declined?
