Sorry don't know what happen with my last response but it ended up all flubbed up..lol. I said,
Congrats again! Hey, if you were going to pull the trigger now was definitely the time to do it. I think you have added two great additions. Gardening definitely pays off!
Not to worry; I saw your response. Thanks so much.
Helloooooo! Is anybody home? LOL
My first time in the Garden! Be Gentle.. I'll be here for at least 12 months. Last app 2/28/13
App free is the way to be!
Congrats, Tinu, and excellent job on the recon!
I like to think of gardening as a way to position myself for the best terms/offers, and in your case it certainly paid off. Just grab a shovel and have some refreshments while your new cards grow...

Hello, and welcome! Please come in and join the party; we're pleased to have you here!
Thanks! Glad to be here! Resistance, Resistance, Resistance!
My first time in the garden. Its only been ten days and its HARD. I just want to move this rebuilding thing along so much its difficult to sit back and just wait patiently. I'm using up a lot of willpower not to put a gazillion inquiries on my report when I know for a fact almost no one will approve me yet.

That's exactly why I had originally started these threads. I needed to sit back and wait while I was rebuilding my credit and I was hoping to find some folks in a similar situation to share encouragement. So, you're definitely in the right place. And please make sure that you put emphasis on the word "yet"... keep using your credit responsibly and you WILL get there.
This will be my first official stint in the garden. I apped for a Bank of America Cash Rewards card on 2/20, and after a recon, I was approved for my first Visa Sig! My wallet is pretty much complete now. The only thing I'm interested in doing for the foreseeable future is growing my 4 existing CLs, especially my Discover ($2,000) and Citi ($1,000). I'm hoping that I'll be able to do that with SPs.
Gardening milestones I'm looking forward to: in late April, all the inquries I took while car shopping will age past 1 year, and in August/September, the most recent lates on my SLs will age past 2 years. I'm hoping that by then, my scores will break 720.
Hi everyone,
I'm still a little new and getting accustomed to the boards.
I hope everybody's enjoying the garden just like me ! har har.
Anywho, I'm a little confused on when my last app was & was hoping someone could clarify this for me... I initially applied for the Chase Freedom in 11/12, was initially denied, but ended up doing a recon & being approved almost a month later in 12/12. Didn't end up getting the card till 1/13 this year.. so would my last app be when I FIRST applied, or when I got approved, or upon receiving the card?
It is tough being in the garden when all I see around the boards is APPROVAL here, APPROVAL there. VERY VERY TEMPTING. I'm hoping to stay in the garden until the end of the year (graduate nursing school) then finally I can have a source of income ! The only card I've been eyeing is the Discover IT. Hopefully I can stay put & just roll it out and garden until the end of the year !
