A BOA CLI will likely be a HP.

New to this gardening thing. I have not had an app since November '11 so its been 7 months for me! I have also seen my score rise from the 690's to 742 on my TU, and 746 on EQ! I do have a BOA card that I opened on Nov.11 for only a 1000 CL..I want to increase that, does anyone know if BOA does a hard or soft pull for CLI?

Some members here have reporting hitting the luv bottom then when it says to call in they didn't. Shortly after there was an increase and no HP. Of course ymmv

I would think a year helps more than 6 months but its based on your own credit profile.

Re: Garden Club Meeting - May 2012

Still here, holding out for the 723-763 the score simulator says I can achieve with a year of ontime payments. Not easy, but, I don't want to get a bunch of declines again. I now know Amex is not a possibility unless it's been at least 8 years since my bankruptcy was filed, so won't bother with them no matter how good my score gets. Whenever I hit that one year mark or 723, I am going app crazy. But, I'm going to be smart about it this time. I'm not going to waste any inquiries by app'ing for cards that usually blacklist bankruptcy or companies I've had a negative relationship with. I'm going to take the time to carefully check out anything thoroughly before I app. If I would have done that the first time, I wouldn't have a pile of inquiries. So, lesson learned there. The only exception will be trying for a GE card, not sure which one, just to see how long the blacklist lasts with them since it seems it's pretty temporary. My app list will probably include Discover More, Cap One Cash Rewards, Barclays Barnes and Nobles, and Amazon for my GE attempt. Possibly also try for a card with USAA.

Current Cards: Cap 1 Journey $3000, Cap 1 Playstation $2250, WFNNB Store Cards $2450 combined, Target $700, CareCredit $1700, Barclay Rewards Plat. Mastercard $1800, Old Navy $300, DCU Platinum Rewards Visa $2000, Swagbucks Rewards Visa $1000

Starting Score: 615 EQ (03-15-2012) 600 TU (03-21-2012 Barclays app) ) Ch.7 discharged 5/2009

Current Score: 671 EQ (09-27-2014 DCU) 660 TU (9/26/14 Barclays) Ex 688 (10/07/2014 Swagbucks)

Re: Garden Club Meeting - May 2012

We are in the home stretch of this month, only a few more days to go.  Then we can start gardening again for June Smiley Happy

For June I intend to not allow a single HP on my CR, not even a CU membership Smiley Happy
