To reiterate:
Here are the rules for Garden Club Recognition:
Garden Club recognition levels: To qualify, your reports must contain:
No new tradelines of any type on one's accounts (this includes backdated Amex accounts, as they are STILL new "seedlings").
No HPs for anything that would allow for the possibility of a new tradeline being issued or increasing the CL of an existing tradeline.
Joining a CU would not result in either a new tradeline or a new credit account, so long as you didn't pick up any of the CU products... such as Visa or Personal Loan. An auto refi would count against you because the refi would generate a new auto loan on your reports.
@webhopper,
What about student loans?
Left the garden yesterday, and had to start over. My new seedling card (10K BCP) should be here by June 2. The reasons for gardening were to buy a house this summer, but I won't have enough of a down payment. So since the house is on hold, I figured I might as well get a BCP, so I can cancel my Zync.
9 days in the garden,
just recv'd my AMEX Hilton Surpass card, read the letter disapointed my EX Fico is only 686 my EX fako is 723 from credit sesame its credit report is clean no INQ's for 5+ months and like 3 INQ's in the last year, hard to belive I got approved for my second AMEX revolver with only a 686 and they gave me the middle teir APR 17.24 I would of prefered the 15.24 that I have on my BCP but better than 19.24%. And they even gave me a $5,500 CL amazing. So all the people that start with a Charge card really do open the door for a revolver with a lower FICO score.
Going to be gardening until at least my BCP and the new hilton report, a $7500 and a $5500 limit reporting should help future CL's if I decide to AP for Discover IT card,
the weekly invites to join with a 12.99 - 15.99% with 14 months of 0% APR. But I'm really wanted to have all my cards be reporting at least a year of age that will happen in december.
