Re: Garden Club Meeting - November 2012

Nice, asp123!
I brought my util down from 80% to about 30% last month and I am patiently waiting for the new balances to report.

Epcot:  thank you!

I am working on my util as well. This four point increase is the result of me paying off half of my lowest balance Credit card. I hope to have everything paid down by my birthday in July.   The gardening will help some as well!!!

Best wishes for you and your journey!Smiley Wink

My last app was the 24th, then in today's mail I was approved for an Associated Bank Select Rewards Platinum with a $1000 CL. Guess I can cultivate on this one too!

Re: Garden Club Meeting - November 2012

I've been planning some airline travel, and have been itching to app for a few airline cards. Delta Skymiles and Alaska Airlines. It's tempting, but I haven't given in and I've alread paid and made my upcoming reservations so I think I'm clear now for a while. Also, I've been thinking about refi'ing my mortgage from 4.75% down to something like 3% now that I have an account and card with PenFed. Cash out of pocket now will pay off a long time in the future. I would want to refi to a 30 year mortgage rather than a 15 so I'm not locked into extra money out each month but can pay extra as I'm able. It's a tough decision, but I think refinancing would be worth stepping out of the garden for....... I hope it's not a slippery slope on the other side of that garden Smiley Wink

Started out with a 648 EQ in 2018, finally got to 850 FS8 TU | 836 FSU EX in November 2021!

Re: Garden Club Meeting - November 2012

Entering the garden. Date of last app: 10/16/12, but capital one pulled a hard on 10/25 after the rep was specifically asked and said no, it's a soft For a CLI. Arguing with them now to get it removed.

i would love to stay for two years or more...but it ain't happening Smiley Happy maybe 6 months once we get our mortgage crap straight. We were approved, then dh lost his job due to someone elses screw up, and found a new one. Pays less and I could've NOT told them..but I figured honesty was best!

Ahhh the iPad mini!

The perfect birthday present for junior!

Must... resist...the...temptation.....

Resisted the urge.  Set up a payment to AMEX prepaid and will get product protection and essentially pay cash for it in two weeks.  Will still get the iPad mini almost 2 weeks before his birthday.

God save the spade!

Good choice Isanham Smiley Happy

I never really liked financing electronics on a credit card... seems like taking out a loan for frivolity.....

I would however charge a device to my amex and not feel bad because I know it will be paid in full.
