Re: Garden Club Meeting - November 2013

Two months in the garden now.  I am perfectly content to water my plants and watch them grow, because I don't really need any new credit right now.  The only time soon I might use it is once my new Comenity Total Rewards card reaches 6 mos., then I might go for a CLI.  Anybody know if they are a soft?

Goooooooooood morning boys and girls.  Happy November, and congrats to Lexie again!  Woohoo!

I just can't seem to shake the app bug, but with DW behaving herself while in the home buying process, my credit lines are taking a bit of a hit...  (util is going to go UP not down this month.  Smiley Sad )

Oh well.

Day 2 app free.  Smiley Happy

Re: Garden Club Meeting - November 2013

Checking in for November. Looking for silver on the 10th. Want to try to hold out for a year for all of the IIBs to fall off, but may need to get a car sooner than anticipated. My plan is to at least hold out until scores are over 700 again.

EX has gained each month, which is good since it was my weakest score. EQ seems to hold steady. TU gained some of it's loss back. It's like watching paint dry, as the expression goes. I'm aging faster than these cards! LOL!

I also joined SDFCU - what a PIA process! No card app, yet. Waiting for next year. Just have a savings account right now. Thinking of joining Alliant also for the interest checking account. I realize this may reset the clock, but it will be better now than later. I'm becoming pro-credit union, I guess.

Past - CH7 BK Discharged 01/09 | Rebuild Started 05/12 Present - All IIBs GONE! Future - 2015 Mortgage

Seems like  I can never get passed the bronze spade Smiley Sad Oh well at least I did manage to get 2 new cards. J Crew and Ann Talyor via shopping cart trick so I guess that makes up for it a little... Staying put until Im old enough to retire which is about 30 years from now

Credit unions have been good to me this year. I don't have a lot of choices, having BK'd most of the major banks.

4 INQs in 2013 yielded $27,000 in credit, there's a metric for you numbers geeks!

2 INQs were for CUs which approved (Alliant &  OCCU Duck); denied by Nordstrom and a Barclay CLI. Barclay was probably mad at me for getting CU cards.
