I didn't have to leave burger and fries for me please. I worked up an appetite someone posted their Barclay TU had updated. No update for me but a $650 auto CLI not bad. I had 60% util for car repair and a new Sams card + hp for Discover IT CLI. And the Vikings won!
Congrats on the CLI!!
I'm happy for you on the Vikings' win.. even happier they didn't win last Sunday against my Cowboys
Thanks everyone ! I also checked Walmart no update yet.

@tinuviel wrote:Hi, everyone! MJ, the spread looks fantastic, as always! I'm sure everyone's going to have a ton of fun tonight.
I'm up in Orlando at my alma mater's homecoming weekend. Since this is a social event in the GC tonight, I thought I'd take a moment to share a few photos.
Had a great time up at UCF's annual Spirit Splash! This is a long standing homecoming tradition. In 2011 it received a best campus tradition award from the National Association for Campus Activities. It's a pep rally in which the students get to jump into the reflecting pond while dance music plays and rubber duckies are tossed out to the participants. No, I didn't jump in -- this year. I did, however, in 2008 and 2009, and it was quite the experience! After all, you're never too old to have fun!
Tomorrow night is the game vs. Houston. Go Knights!!!
Have a great night, fellow gardeners! I'll check back in on Monday after I've returned home and have settled back in.
Hi tin
WoW that looks like fun and love the traditions
Have a wonderful time and enjoy your weekend.......... Go Knights
Question after having a card for food, gas, shopping, travel, emergencies and BT.
How many cards do you really need and is quality better than quantity?
Well, aside from the few Comenity cards that I use (sort of) for the discounts, I have 3 CCs for my current needs.
When I started with the forum, I had 1 CC that I always PIF, so I didn't need a BT card. Once I PCd my Palt Visa to Freedom, I used that for the revolving 5% categories. I added Discover It and finally the Barclay Plat, Rewards MC. I use the Barclay for most purchases gas, groceries and shopping at CVS, Wlareen's and Target, since they also qualify as "grocery stores."
The Freedom was SD for a bit, but with the holidays coming up it will get some use. I don't do much online shopping, so Discover isn't see much action this quarter.
I'm not ready to app for anything else until after the first of the year. It's a toss up between CSP (which Chase probably won't grant me) and an AMEX (not sure which yet), which is also dicey, since my BK will be only 7-yrs old. I will have some travel coming up in the summer, but I may have to make due with the cash from the three cards, which, at least, be good spending moeny.

You'll catch the next one.
Yay, social! Burger and fries sounds perfect, but I think I need a beer to go with. Heheh. I'll be hipster and order a PBR.
I think the amount of cards that's ideal is very individual. Some think three is too many, and some think 100 is not enough.
I think more than 10 active TLs would be more than I'd really care to manage. I'm at 8 now, though, but one of those will be closed in spring. Do I need them? Well, since my limits are small, I do. For now.
