Good morning garden club! It's a balmy +1 degrees in MN! Checking in for another day.

Edit:  Just realized 3 days to Bronze! Time flys by when chasing garden jumpers!  LOL

Edit 2 : yudeo you can run to Vegas but you can't hide MJ activated the gps tracker and I got my new intergalactic eye glasses!  LOL

Thank you for all of the welcomes! As of a few minutes ago, I was alerted that my FICO through Barclay (TU) has gone up to 648. I have 5 current medical collections on my cr that I will hopefully be getting paid off in full in the next month or two. One of them has offered me a settlement. Is it better to settle it at the 50% they are offering or just pay it in full? All of them are between $350-$750, the 5 of them total $2500. I really want my report to reflect positively when I take care of these so I could use some advice on how to handle it. They are all from when my son got hurt and we didn't have insurance. I applied for Medicaid and was told it would be backdated 6 months. I told the guy in collections this and never heard another thing about it. Should I dispute them or pay them? My son still has Medicaid.

If your son got medical, YOU DO NOT have to pay those bills. Contact the provider instead of the collection agency tell them that your son was approved for medicaid, give them the info and tell them to recall it from collections. If they play games send a cmrr letter to each collection agency disputing the alleged debt and inform them that your son has medicaid, and you should not be billed by Federal law (probably by your state law too), if they do not remove it then do a complain with your state attorney general.

Dispute them, by federal law if your son got medicaid you should not be billed perod. If it's necesary send them proof of medicaid elegibility to whoever needs it.
