Re: Garden Club Meeting - November 2013

Just checking in for November. Coming up on 9 months. This is the month I am supposed to decide on an AmEx app to get a 2013 MSD. While it would be nice to lock that in, I think I am going to keep going for that Platinum spade! Anyone else having this dilemma?

Re: Garden Club Meeting - November 2013

@MC9199 - I didn't BK any major banks. Right now, for them, it's just the fact of having a BK that keeps me being acceptable for their cards. I'm just glad to know it's not the end of the world for me and I don't have to wait another 3-4 years or until the BK completely falls off to get credit with the CUs. For me, 5 of my accounts are brand new as of July this year (all NFCU and both CapOne), so age and demonstrating I can handle all this new credit, will be key.

Barclay's was sending me pre-approvals all the time. I haven't received anything lately. I'm sure the NFCU CLI's scared them off! Ha!

Re: Garden Club Meeting - November 2013

I'm still here in the Garden. I recently got an SP CLI on my converted Cap 1 card and asked for a CLI on my other one. I hope that's an SP too.

PNC sent me a pre-selected offer for a card with 0% BT til 2015. I was tempted for a minute, but I didn't bite.

I pick up my silver spade in 2 weeks. Smiley Happy
