Hello everyone!  My gardening for 3 months paid off:smileyhappy:  I have been gardening for 3 months while paying down my utilization, in hopes of getting a decent intrest rate for a vehicle from my credit union.  It worked, app'd on Oct 1st and got approved for 1.9%.  Lowest I have ever had for a vehicle.  Now I just have to find my Infiniti G37.   I am back in the garden till next year.

Congrats on the great interest rate! It's amazing how beneficial it can be to sit back and tend to the accounts one already has. Enjoy your new car, and welcome back for another stay in the garden. :smileyhappy:

[ Edited ]

Sitting back and enjoying a nice hefeweizen...

Still waiting for my new Discover to report. My statement closes on the 6th, so I wouldn't be surprised if it appears in a week or so. Once it does, I'll be able to see the final effects of the new credit ding. I'm looking forward to watching my scores recover when this is all said and done.

(ETA) But I must say this... I'm thoroughly enjoying my new cards. No app itch at all! :smileyhappy:
