Well I found my assessment date on my tax transcript; it's been slightly more than 10 years since that date and AFAIK the regulations are on my side for once in this situation.  

Dealing with the IRS is never a happy situation but have to face the music at some point and this is as good as it's going to get for an old issue, and at that point I can start moving forward with my financial life again one way or another.

Less than 10 minutes into Oct. 1st and I'm already 10 pages behind?!   Well, that will teach me not to take an evening off to do homework ever again lol.

Checking in for October, 17 more days and I get to do the 3X AMEX CLI !

So far I've had no temptations whatsoever. I might not be able to buy my car on March/April as planned, So I might be in the garden for a bit longer (Always a good thing!) But if I do ever leave the garden for a car, I'll begin a seedling that same that and stay here some more !
