Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

I can't believe it's already September! Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend! I'm still a little seedling but I'm pretty confident I'll make it to bronze. I've already made it to bronze twice (😝I think)! But each time, I ended up stepping out - for good lots of money saving TLs though! This time, I have pretty much everything I need at the moment so barring something crazy happening (like my 15 yr old Toyota crapping out in the next month), I want to shoot for silver.

I have a 15 year old Toyota too! My mechanic told me it's good for at least another 75,000 miles.Smiley Happy On another note, I've changed all my plans and decided I'm going to shoot for one year in the garden.

Bravo on the new plan Wooo Hooo

Happy September GCers! I couldn't leave without signing in for the month and wishing you all well in your gardening journey.

September should be good for me score wise. I will have 3 inqs/accts on EX/TU aging to 1 yr.
Also, it'll be 6 mos from my mega spree of March.

I wish everyone well and I'll be checking in next week .

myjourney, keep 'em in line. Smiley Tongue

Have a wonderful vacation Lexie Smiley Happy

September gardening update

Scores are climbing Amex said no to my business 3x CLI but its ok because I kind of knew it was a little early to try for that much but I did it anywaySmiley Sad

Should have followed my first thought and asked for 1x CLI which would have put me at 16K and 6 months later asked again ....

Live and learn right  it's the first time I have ever heard no (what did you say)

Reason listed in my letter

New with Amex

INQ's in the last 12 months which is not bad considering

TU 4 EX 4 EQ 3

But they have a somewhat of a point its not a year tho

app spree in Dec 2012 and June 2013 have resulted in 7 cards in 6 months.....

yes I grab trinkets as Lexie tells me and run to the garden for 6 months and plant them quick ..Good at it to I might add...Lol

The letter also was a SP from Aug 3 and EX score was 687 not bad considering my spree had just taken place on June 6th....and 2 of my 4 cards were EX pulls

700 here I come again and garden strong until December 2013

Hi All,

I've been in the garden for 10 days now and although I have a long way to go I'm confident that my seedling will grow. Congrats to those who have accomplished their goals and good luck to those who are in the process of doing so!

R.I.P. summer Smiley Sad

I pick up my Bronze in 2 weeks and I'm at least going for Gold, perhaps Platinum again. In the past 3 months I've picked up 5 new cards and a car loan.

Pass the watering can. Smiley Happy
