Re: Garden Club - September 2015

Morning. Tuesdays absolutely suck as much as Mondays lol Only time I get even a little excited about weekdays is around 4pm on Wednesday bc the weekends almost here. Smiley Very Happy Didnt make it to work. In my defense a bearlike individual has me trapped in a vise grip and I can only move my fingertips but somehow I dont think my job will accept that excuse. 😎 Allergy issues it is then. 70% true so minor fib.

In credit news....blah I still got nothing. WHEN is this darn lease going to report already?! Geez. Starting September with a bronze spade. Garden strong folks.

Re: Garden Club - September 2015

Made it to a club meeting! I'm in here until I buy a new car. I need time to get my util down and build my savings up. Hoping to be ready to buy by December 18th.

Re: Garden Club - September 2015

Hopefully I tie my hands super tight for the rest of the year. I was well on course of 2 months of gardening before the two AMEX offers popped out and destroyed my gardening. If it had been normal I would have eyed the Freedom offer which usually pops out in November but with the new Chase rule am gonna sit it out.

AAoA: 1 yr 3 mo | FICO Scores: EX: 720, TU: 724, EQ: 705 | Inq: EX: 13, EQ: 8, TU: 7 | GARDENING AS OF 3/13/2017

Re: Garden Club - September 2015

I'm in until at least March!  It's going to be hard, really hard, but I can do it!  I have major motivation this morning - I just logged into CCT and my EX jumped UP 13 points overnight with no changes other than the turning of the clock from August to September, gotta love it!  I'm nervous to see the numbers change after my new stuff reports later in the month, fingers crossed they go up again!

Re: Garden Club - September 2015

Month two on the eleventh and no new toys on my radar! No AA from furniture and vacation reporting on my 0% balances so it looks like I'm clear. Paying 3x minimum with installment sized payments going to savings until it's enough for payoff.

Silver spade next month? Cool.

Re: Garden Club - September 2015

As of September 5, I'll have been in the garden 9 months. There are 1-2 cards that I want to apply for, but then the peer pressure of the garden and my wish to get a mortgage in 2017/8 keeps me in.

My accounts continue to age, with my AAoA now up to 6.5 years according to CK. Yet another reason to stay in the garden.

In August, I got SP CLI with BCP (now $30k) and JCrew (now $6,100) and brought my total CL to over $100k (not much over $100,900). I also paid off my last private student loan. (Still have 4 federal student loans left to go - and that will be several years before they're all paid.)

I'll have a HP fall off of EX (bringing it down to 2 inquiries on EX, 3 on TU, and 4 on EQ, and most will fall off in late 2016).

So, here's to another month of gardening...

Re: Garden Club - September 2015

Checking in for September!  I called to close my DCU secured card today, and once that check arrives, will be paying off a student loan.  Hurrah!  Still paying down my AmEx, currently carrying $1k on it.  Not liking my TU score, not sure why it took such a dive when EQ and EX did not.  I believe it is because a student loan transferred servicers, and the old account is now reporting closed and the new account has not reported yet.  Ehhh, onward and upward!
