I dont think its made up. When you're married if that persons credit goes to he___ you have the privilege of going down with the ship! Their debt becomes your responsibility. It can get ugly

I married a man with bad credit. To be fair, my credit was marginal at the time. We talked about credit and money before we wed and had made a plan to get in a better place financially. I stuck to the plan and he didn’t. We divorced a few years after we married. He still has bad credit. Mine is not fabulous yet, but I had to rebuild without the benefit of child support and raise 2 kids on my own.

that's gotta be a made up story, nobody cares about credit scores these days except for us on here.
I would not be so dismissive of this, I had a friend who actually left his GF over her credit score, it does happen.

It's been a while since the last time I checked in. I don't really have anything credit related to report. I have not applied for anything since last March. I guess I can pick up a palladium spade since I'm here.
And hey, now I'm less than a month away from Platinum. Wow, time flies lol.

My story is 100% true! This guy is rich and has a lot to lose. A lot of people think it's a reflection of character. I quite agree.
