Re: Garden Thread - March 2015

Good morning boys and girls, happy March....and happy birthday to me!

So, I now have an accidental bronze spade.  Haven't apped since January, and have no real plans to.  Still fighting our way through a refi mess, so we may or may not have to pull credit again.

I'm 42 years old today....does that mean that I get to get drunk twice?  Smiley Happy

Re: Garden Thread - March 2015

Happy March all fellow GCers....here we go again.. For this mth I can't see getting any CLI's unless they're auto,, just got my Discover and Citi and no others SP's are due .

Will continue to try to lower Apr's  and just watch my garden grow. The major bright spots for me are all inquires but 4(2EQ,2TU) come off this year...So mth by mth I'll watch them go away trying not to replace them..lol

My goals are to :

stay here until ?

get that  palladium spade @ end of mth

no apps

Re: Garden Thread - March 2015

I think it's time to officially garden since it appears my new goal is the Cap One Visa in light of the new Costco/Visa partnership announcement.  I feel like this will give me another point of self-accountability!

Question - I've been "self-gardening" since November 2014, if I am just joining the official gardening club, do I still qualify for the 3-month spade or am I a seedling?  No HPs since 11/21/14.

I will be gardening until at least November 2015.

Re: Garden Thread - March 2015

So MARCH is FINALLY here... I've been waiting for March all year!

1) My gold spade arrived today!!! Smiley Happy

2) Bonus/Salary Increase/Performance reviews hit on the 6th..  So that means I should get some relief on utlization.  Our reviews were supposed to be complete before March first but my boss hasn't even scheduled them.  I know we've been under a LOT of pressure and we had two major deliverable projects last month but I am sad I haven't had my annual review and found out what my bonus and pay raise are... Smiley Sad  All well.... More too look forward to this month I guess.  This is kind of a tricky situation, I don't want to mentally set myself up thinking I've had a good year and then get a horrible bonus and raise.  So I am just going to take some notes and make some plans on how I want my annual review to go and then take it from there.

3)  MARCH MADDNES BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Those from the GC last year know how crazy I am for college basketball Smiley Happy

Checking in for March. Still in it for the forseeable future, as I PC'd my CSP to the Freedom instead of waiting/applying for it and getting a nice sign on bonus.

Decided to check my scores finally as it has been 5-7 months since I last checked. My EX has jumped from about 700 to 787 while the other two are still hovering at/around 700. I attribute this to my last derogetory mark falling off my EX report last month, while it will be gone from the other two this month or next.

I'd like to think that 2+ years of gardening has also had an influence, so stick with it ladies and gentleman.

Nice.   I so want to wait the two years. But what about Costco?

Good morning, everybody! Nothing helps cure that itch like getting a Credit One offer for a $1000 limit in the mail.

That would do it.  Guess you don't want the free fico score? Smiley Wink
