Get rid of Applied bank Gold secured card. Should I or not?

Heres my situation. A month ago I needed a 3rd card so I got this secured card from Applied Bank. My credit has gone up and I don't need a secured card anymore now that I'm in fair standing. This card hasn't been reported yet to my credit  and I havn't used it either. Should I go ahead and close this card before it reports and get a better card or keep it for a year before I decided to get rid of it?

From what I understand about Applied bank, they are no different than Credit One bank. They are going to gouge you with fees. Close it and don't look back!!

If you don't need the CL to help your utilization then you could go ahead and close it down. When it reports it will be factored into your AAoA the same either as a closed or open account.
