Gold Amex Premier Rewards also Called Rewards Plus

So I said I was approved for the Amex Gold Premier Rewards little while back.

They sent the card - it says in the black writing " Rewards Plus"

I called up Amex CSR and asked what the heck is this {nicely} and is this different from your advertised "Prem Rewards"

Puts me on hold and comes back saying they will Overnight a new Card with the "Premier Rewards" denoted

Has anyone else seen this weird "Rewards Plus" On thier Gold Amex?

that was the previous gold reward card that amex was offering it also had a cheaper annual fee of 150

I see.... well at least they are switching it out to what I applied for. Luckily it says Prem rewards on my account.

Same thing happened to me last week, they overnighted me the new card as well lol

I was a little perturbed lol

yea i was anxious too when i got my first amex i had them overnight it too lol
