I know, but I was expecting American Express to frown on 702 lol. I figured I needed higher in this credit climate. I was thinking oh I'm not getting approved with 702, Amex will probably require 725 or so. That's why I expected a denial letter.Smiley Happy

I think as long as your score is above 700 and your stats are OK thats good enough for AMEX.

Scores in the 700s are in the "good territory" and will open most doors to you, including some Amex revolvers. Smiley Happy

@this card was really easy to get. I had like 6 inq on my report. They hit my worse credit report exp @702. I was like omg I'm not getting it.

+1

I had 6 inquiries on Equifax, and I know they pulled at least Equifax. They only gave me a $1,000 limit though. This is the lowest among my current cards, but I was trying to get any Amex card by the end of the year, so at least I achieved my objective.

Re: Gold Delta SkyMiles AMEX

Hi guys. I haven't refreshed my scores yet. buts as of right now these are my starting scores B4 I had 1 baddie remove from my Experian(3 left). EQ 0, EX 534, an TU 540. I currently have 3 baddies on my EX. I just got 1 BOA secured card, 1 Cap One secured an 1 Discover IT card. I also got 2 installments loans. 1 auto an one Shared secured. When do you guys think I can possibly qualify for the Amex Delta Sky miles charge card?

That seems like a lot of new accounts in a short amount of time. Maybe you should conside gardening, letting the accounts age, bring your scores up and then apply? Smiley Happy
