The last pull on TU was last week for my Barclay approval, first one in 9 months. So that makes 6 total HP on TU. Only 2 are less than a year old and one of those is BofA for a CLI. So I'm feeling confident with taking an HP on TU to do this.
SOOOOooooo.... my question is what CLI do you think I should request? I have a perfect payment history, been with BofA for 2 yrs, 2 mos now. But they've denied me twice for a CLI. Even when I only requested a $200 increase. However, this was when they were my only card. I've been stuck with a measely $500 CL with them all this time.
Take a look a my sig for the scores and my wallet and offer some advice if you can. Naysayers are welcome too.
Thanks a ton!
LOL! I plan to garden VERY soon. Next couple of weeks. Talking to my CU and they said the best they probably do 11.25% and there's a Chase Freedom pre-approval staring at me. Both would EX HPs. If I do those two as well then I'm off to the garden and waiting for my paid lien to drop off on 11/2015.
Do you know if BofA counter offers? Thought maybe just shoot for the moon and do $7500 and see if I can bump up to a Signature.
Thanks!
I just got CLIs on five of my Comenity cards. I'm thinking since JCrew jumped from $250 to $4,450 I might wanna wait until those CLIs post. Although, I'm not sure if BofA even considers toy cards when matching.
Awesome. Thanks for the input. I will be wearing mittens to hinger my trigger finger in the interim.
Agree with asking for $5k. BoA is pretty decent about counter-offering if they can't fulfill the entire request.
Any derogs on your TU report? Some prime lenders dont take store card limits into account when asking to match or exceed a certain store card limit.
With that said I would only aim to double your limit and that would be 1k. I started with them with a 300cl secured card which graduated to 1k after a year then I requested 3x cl to 3k and had to recon that limit. Last night I hit the luv button after having the 3k cl for over a year and instant approval for 2x cl.
