I mistakenly made a payment via ACH using our savings account (new acct) at NFCU. Unfortunately I paid through savings instead of checking (duh). The ACH was not paid.
This caused a 30 day late on dh reports. I emailed Capital one & asked them for assistance. They advised me to send my letter of explanation and a copy of the reports.
It sounds like they may be willing to remove the late for me. What do you think? I immediately pif'd last month, now I have a -46.00 balance.
