My DW applied for and was approved for a Goody's department store card roughly 2 weeks before the announcement that Goody's was closing. She charged about 40 dollars on a $400 limit then turned around and PIF when statement came. My question is since the account is only 5 months old and Goody's is no longer around should she just close the account? I'm also co-applicant on the card.
