I called Macy's CSR and asked if I could get CLI on my Star Rewards Card. He said my account is eligible for $700 CLI. I gueess, I came long way from initial $100 CL I got when I opened the account last November. Now my new CL is $1100.
cool, thank you. I just got my card at the beginning of this week, called and got the limit from $100 to $300. CSR told me to call back in 3 months for a GLI. how big were your purchases?
Not that big. Between $30 - $100. Just few shirts and clothes. They give CLI every 3 months. I started with $100. Then $200. Then $400. Now it is at $1100. Once it reaches $2000, I'll stop asking for CLI. I do not revolve balance so there is no need for me to have more than $2K CLI on this card.

Its every 90 days from the time you request an increase. Since I requested mine be increased the day after I got the card on 6/10, I have to wait until 9/10 before I can request another.
Your increases to $400 and $1100 -- were those the result of hard pulls?
I'm curious because each time I've requested a Macy's increase without a hard pull, they've only increased by $100. So I'm wondering if they have a "soft = $100" guideline.
